I've rescued this dog, but I'm not sure what breed he is? Can anyone help? Is he a Red Nose Pit Bull?

He definitely has pitbull in him. A DNA test will tell you if he is purebred.
I see lots of pit bull in your dog.
I see some terrier (leaning to the staffordshire bull terrier) in this sweet face...maybe a little lab--I have a couple of AKC links at the end of my message. It has a section that talks about colors not being breeds.
Have you asked the vet to weigh in?
They are good (at least mine is) about matching features to breed standards.
