Everywhere I go people always say my dog is so cute. Followed by what is her breed. I rescued her from the local animal shelter. They had her listed as a Pit/Lab mix. I am no expert, but I just don't see that in her. She is stocky, very muscular, and has a small underbite (but an underbite nonetheless). The way she lays is with her hind legs extended straight back. Does that mean anything about the breed? She is 57 lbs., very defined muscles, very docile, submissive to other dogs, approximately, 20 inches tall (top of butt to floor). She is friendly with dogs and cats, but that may not be breed specific. Probably just training though. Her color is very dark brown almost black with some white areas. Any way, what do you think she is? Could she be an American Bulldog, a Boxer, or a Pit?

schnauzer and weiner dog mix. mostly weiner dog though.
I would say your dog is 75% (or more) pit bull. The other 25% may be lab. She is a very pretty dog.
I see a lot of Pit in your dog for sure. You can tell by the way the dog is built and stands. I would have to say that the small percent of the mix is a black lab.
The face shows there is a lot of pitbull.
Definitely looks like a pit dominant lab!
Your dog has a lot of physical characteristics of a pit. There may be some lab in the mix but it's certainly not the dominant breed in the bloodline.
