The photos are of my little pup when I first got her and now at 3 1/2 months old (3.6kg). We were told she was a Pomeranian, but she still has a short coat, her ears have not stood up fully yet and she is heavier than the average Pomeranian. Our vet also agrees that she is most likely not a pure Pomeranian, can anyone tell what mix she could be?

If you want a definitive answer there are dog DNA kits (similar to the popular human DNA kit 23 And Me) that can be purchased to find out. I dont know where you live, but in America you can get a kit for around $40 or $45 from places like Walmart or Amazon. Otherwise you will just be getting guesses from different people based on a photo (which, by the way, is very adorable) and that usually isnt a good criteria for a true answer.
There may be some collie in her.
The dog DNA kits can be interesting, but we know a few folks whose pups came back with inclusive or unknown mix and they were disappointed, as they wanted more information than he/she is a mix.
I am surprised that you vet didn't offer any additional guidance. They look at bone structure, teeth, and other markers/standards.
Talking to folks who have been around dogs or raise a particular breed or who have like breed can be the second best source of info.
Personally, I see a little American Eskimo in that sweet face. Especially around the eye shape.
Enjoy your fur baby!!
