Cookie is about 3 months old and I have no idea about breeds. She is very good natured, although she bites a bit and loves to chew, but then doesn't every dog?

What a darling! Yes, definitely Boxer and it looks to my experienced eye there is a shepherd in the gene pool as well.
I say experienced eye because before relocating permanently to the UK, I raised AKC Boxers in the US and also did a lot of breed rescue. Use a search engine term like 'boxer shepherd mix puppies' to find images - you'll see what I mean:)
The Boxer looks dominant in your puppy - be sure to read up on the breed traits (which include chewing) so that you understand the important characteristics - one being Boxers don't fully mature until around aged 3 years. Not sure what especial shepherd characteristics you'll need to know about, but I do know Boxers and shepherds are working breeds and do best if they feel they have an assigned 'job', and get plenty of exercise.
I kept all of my companion Boxers inside with me and they were convinced their 'job' was to guard my children and/or me. As this is not an especially aggressive breed, they were wonderful guard dogs without being too scary unless someone 'picked on' my youngsters or me, and then yes, my Boxers were definitely scary:)
Female Boxers do sexually mature at around 6 months but if bred too young they do have a tendency to suffer from urinary tract infections, uterine prolapse, and a few more problems - as she's a mix you'll be best advised to have her spayed at between 6-12 months old to prevent those problems. Probably the same for shepherds as well, so best to consult your vet once you narrow down the type shepherd your little love is mixed with.
