The guy said he is a Boxer and he has his CKC papers. What do you think?

Hi Betty! I raised AKC Boxers in the US 40+years before relocating to the UK in 2010. My advise is to contact the CKC to validate those papers - unless Boxer standards in Canada have changed, those legs look a touch short to be full-on Boxer. Also his colours are not right - I've NEVER seen a full-blooded pedigree Boxer with those colours anywhere on the planet. He looks as though there might be some Cocker in the way-back (3+generations - just a guess, a vet would give a better idea) gene pool.
His head and other parts conform, though, so he may just be a runt with a throw back colouration. Best to check with your vet for both breed and potential breed-specific health troubles.
To be clear, you're not going to want to use him for breeding because he's just not a top-quality specimen in appearance. That doesn't mean he won't be the best family companion you've ever shared your life with! Just be sure to have him neutered soon after he ages to past six months, and be sure to start his socialisation-obediance training now. He's a darling puppy and should have all or nearly all the traits that make Boxers such wonderful family companion dogs.
