My dog is a Schnauzer in every bit of his appearance. We were told he was a Schnauzer Terrier mix. He weighs 24 lbs, stands 1 foot 4 inches at the shoulder. His size seems to be exactly in between a mini and a standard. Could it be possible he is a cross of the two breed sizes?

I think you may be right. He looks pure schnauzer to me and I have had both standard and miniature schnauzers. He looks too big to be a mini and too small to be a standard. It is really a nice size.
