Wowwww what a cutie! Looks like a handsome Siberian Husky! Here is info on this handsome Boy - en.wikipedia.org/
This little pup reminds me of a little male pup I used to have back in the 90's - oops, giving away some age there LOL! I raised two, one male and one female Alaskan Malamutes. They were simply gorgeous and both made great family dogs. Back then, my eldest daughter was just born so she was actually brought up with Juneaux, my male and we acquired Sadie, my female later. Juneaux protected that child as if she were his own. One day she was squirming around and crawling around all over him when she inadvertently crawled around and somehow smashed his privates but instead snapping, he put his mouth around her head out of reflex but never laid one ounce of saliva on her. Not one tooth mark, nothing. He knew that it had been an accident and she didn't mean to cause him pain, he didn't want to scare her or cause her any pain or fright. Neither cried or were scared, they just went on playing. I loved that dog so very much. He was born down here in South Louisiana and had acclimated to this hot humid weather but I always kept him in the air conditioning and he had his own swimming pool to keep cool also.
He is adorable and looks a lot like an Alaskan Malamutes to me. My daughter has the Alaskan Husky and when he was 6 months old he was quite a bit larger than your dog.
Yeah, Im so sorry, he is six weeks old.
Im wondering if he is mixed Siberian Husky and Alaskan Malamute. His sister has Blueish eyes, as for my puppy does not
Not sure about the Siberian Husky as I believe they have stand-up ears from very young age.
Might have some Malamute but probably not completely either one. You may have to wait until he is a little older to get a better fix on his breeding.
The most important thing you can do for yourself and your pup is to find him a good vet and be sure to get all of his first year shots/vaccinations.
