I am trying to figure out the breed of my puppy. I picked him up three days ago, there were 8 puppies all together and they were all white. He was the only tan one with blue eyes. The lady where I got him from told me they were Shepherd mix puppies, but he just doesn't look like a Shepherd to me.

This is a very nice looking puppy.
- Since this puppy is so young you will need to take it to your vet immediately and start their puppy shots. This is very important to protect them against the Parvovirus.
- When you are at the vet see if they can help you ideentify the breed or mixed breed of your dog.
- If they can't ask them about a DNA test.
- Before doing the test find out the cost. May times they are rather expensive.
- If it is too expensive look online for a home DNA kit or see if your local pet store sells one.
- Purchase the kit and do the test yourself at home.
