We have a six month old puppy which we were told was a Ruby Cavalier. As he has gotten older he does not look anything like a Cavalier King Charles. We already have a King Charles and they look so different. We love him either way, but are curious as to his breed/s for health and temperament reasons.

This is a Ruby Cavalier. It may or may not be purebred. If purebred, it may have breed characteristics that are not considered show quality.
It is also possible that your other dog is not purebred or has unusual genetics and that is why they don't look similar.
