I want to adopt this puppy, but am just not sure if it is the breed she says it is. Is it a Great Pyrenees or not?

Can't tell for sure, but he looks like he could have some Chow in him/her. If it has black splotches on it's tongue it might very well be some Chow. That thick looking ruffle of hair around his head also resembles chow. Just to be sure, I looked up Pyrenese. From what I read they are most often white.
I have a large (50 plus pounds) female dog. Her tail curls over her back (another Chow sign) and she has the black spots on her tongue. But the rest of her body could be anything from German Shepherd to any other breed with that body shape. She is very guarding, loyal, and protective of me...another sign.
She also guards the house...inside and out, and the cats and the Beagle. But our Queensland Australian Red Healer, who is older by 9 months, think she rules the house and all within. She is a herder...whether any of the rest want to be herded or not.
Looks like a chow. Adorable!
