If the dog is on the smaller side, I would say the face also resembles a Corgi. What's the body type?
Wow! Corgi and/or Shiba Inu were my two guesses also. If built square then Shiba Inu, if like a rectangle (long and low) then a Corgi!
If he's tall, Shiba Inu.
If he's big and tall, Akita
If he's short, Corgi
He's probably a combo of one of those and some kind of shepherd.
I also vote for Corgi by looking at it's ears. My question is, how much does he weigh and how tall is he. Can you post a whole picture of his body and perhaps a better photo of his head.
I have a dog that is a shiba inu and basenji mix. Your dog looks a lot like her.
