I agree with tami, your dog looks very much like an American Bulldog. I have one, a little girl of 80 lbs. They often are taken for Staffordshire Terriers.

I would say a sort of bulldog, or even one of those types of pit bulls that are really not pits but they are closer to mastiffs but look like pit bulls.
