I got him from the Orange shelter and they said he is a Border Collie mix. He looks like a German Shepherd. What do you guys think?

I think he does have some German Shepherd in him (back legs, tail), but not a bit of Border Collie-those front legs and paws are pure Welsh Corgi for one thing, and truthfully the head does have something of a Corgi look, too-easily mistaken for Chihuahua if you don't know what Corgi pups look like; here's some links to pics of Corgis, I really think your dog has more than a little in him:

Scroll through the Corgi pics in the image search (the link brings you to a full page of Corgis in all their glory) and I think you'll see you have a really great Corgi mix in your life. Corgis and GS are magnificent dogs, the combination in your dog is going to mean you have the very best of both dogs in one. GS+Corgi means a smaller version of the GS/bigger version of the Corgi, and all the great things about the two breeds.
Wow, I think I want one!
Not sure, but I've had border collies before and he doesn't look like one to me. But he's adorable!
He looks a lot like one of my dogs which is a dachsund/beagle mix.
