My dog has short black hair and no tail. He was born with no tail. We adopted him at 10 weeks or so. He's an amazing dog.
My dog is supposed to be Australian Shepherd and Black Lab mix.

He certainly looks like a black lab. I guess any dog could be born without a tail.
I've heard of poor dogs born without one or more of their legs.
The lack of a tail should not bother him at all.
He certainly is a beauty! Please give him a "smooch" for me!
Some aussie are born without a tail. Mine was. Its normal if he is half aussie.
