Raya was adopted from the pound when she was 6mos - 9mos old (they really had no idea). So she's roughly 9mos-1yr old or olderish. Anyway, they described her as a Boxer mix; I'm not so convinced.

She looks like a Catahoula Leopard dog mix. Or possibly one of the Australian herding breeds. She should be a wonderful dog.
I was an AKC Boxer breeder in the US for over 40 years and I did a lot of breed rescue in the last five years I was in the States - your dog doesn't look as though it has ANY Boxer in it at all. The brindle colouring probably is why they thought the dog is part Boxer but actually brindles don't happen very often with Boxers.
Your dog has very short legs, also not a Boxer trait. Might have some Terrier mixed with one of the hound breeds that throw brindle colours, and the face and ears look Beagle to me; best way to be sure though is to ask a canine vet.
Unusual looking dog, very striking! It really would be a good idea to find out what is in that dog so that you know what to expect temperament and behaviour wise.
