What Breed is My Dog?

Our one year old pup was a, "rescue" dog and has all the markings of a Border Collie or Australian Shepherd. He weights about 55 to 60 lbs today, has a bobbed tail, a long double coat, loves to herd objects, and has a lot of energy.

He's very focused, extremely intelligent, and learns everything almost immediately. I would like to know if anyone knows which breed he is? One vet said he was mini-Aussie. Another vet said he was a standard Aussie.frontal view

He looks like a border collie to me. He's just beautiful. These dogs are great for rounding up stock , highly intelligent and make faithful and loving pets. You are very lucky.

He is a black tri aussie. Looks purebred.

He is a black tri aussie. There is no difference between a standard and mini. A mini is just breeding smaller sized standard aussies. The toy Aussie however is a mix.
