I would like to know what breed my dog is. I'd say that he has some Labrador in him, but my friend told me that he has also some Australian Shepherd in him. Or maybe an Australian Kelpie mix? I'd like to know your opinion. What breed do you think my dog is? Thanks.

I'm from Australia, and he looks like a red Kelpie cross either Blue Cattle Dog or Border Collie.
He's a beauty. I bet he's really clever.

I totally agree with the 2 before me. As soon as I saw him, the first thought was Border Collie mixed with something else.
My guess is Lab and Border Collie. We have an 18 month old that looks a lot like yours, and after some serious training, she is a fantastic dog.
Thanks a lot for your opinions. I actually got him from an Australian family, therefore he is an Australian dog. So he could possibly have some Australian cattle dog in him. But aren't they actually spotted?
I have an Australian shepherd that is spotted, but I also have a Australian shepherd/border collie mix that is black. So I guess it can go either way.
My first thought was border collie mix also. Could be any variety of the herding breeds.
