What a darling boy, and congratulations to him for finding his smart people who've dressed him in a good quality chest harness!
I was an AKC Boxer breeder in the US (40+years) and also did breed rescue before relocating to the UK - my experience tells me you have a Boxer-Lab-American Staffordshire Terrier puppy in the house. All three are wonderful breeds if raised properly (and with that chest harness it's clear you are on the right path:) - check your local library for helpful breed specific books to learn the characteristics of all three breeds. A Google or Bing search will lead you to image pages of this mix to confirm, and websites to help you understand your little guy's needs.
A visit to a canine vet specialist will also be a huge help as he/she will be familiar with the local laws regarding Boxer and Staffie cross dogs who unfortunately have acquired a terrible reputation for dangerous behaviours.
