Very active, we got her a couple weeks ago and need help figuring out what mix she is. We have some ideas but we are not 100% for sure at the moment.

As a puppy, the dog will grow and change all the time. I can see some indication in the puppy's face that resembles a black lab. The puppy also looks like it might have some wirehair in the mix. The coloring is very similar to a border collie but the feet are way too big to be a border collie mix but that is not to say that the dog has come collie in it. A lot of times we just love our animals and do not really care what they are mixed with or not. I think that a vet might be able to help you out quite a bit on this one. As a puppy, the dog needs puppy shots to protect them from parvo. When you take the puppy to the vet to start the series of puppy shots please ask the vet what he thinks.
I would say adorable would be an appropriate answer....
Puppies are very difficult to try and pinpoint a breed because they grow so fast and everything about them changes during this fast growing period.
You should have received some information when you received her, especially information about the parents - maybe even see the parents in person as this is usually the first idea of the breed.
The best thing you can do for your baby is to make sure she has all of her shots/vaccinations in a timely manner as these can save her life as she ventures out into the big world.
Ask your vet about her breeding as they usually have a lot of 'knowledge' in this area as they can see them in person as they grow and they can see the different 'breeds' as she changes.
The only way to know about her breeding for sure is to do a DNA test. These test kits can be purchased online, pet stores and your vet.
The cost of a kit varies according to how far back in the bloodline you want checked.
Prices usually start at about $40 and can go to several hundred dollars.
Adorable, does it really matter.
It's always difficult to tell what breeds are involved when you're judging a young puppy. One possible idea for your puppy is that she's a springer spaniel mix with some type of retriever being included in the mix. Love her, take care of her and enjoy watching her grow into her own unique blend of physical traits and persoanlity.
Hi!
Hi!
This baby is so adorable! I see Border Collie, for sure, and also I see Catahoula. Judging by the size of the feet, and her build, she will be a tall dog, but not overly muscular. I see Border Collie the most, in her. She will be so smart!
Thank you for sharing this sweet puppy!

Sweet pup! I see a Heinz 57 mix of border collie, hound, and maybe a drop of terrier! Have you had the vet weigh in? Vet can see what we can't!
Post back with updates! Wishing you many happy adventures!
