What breed of Husky is my puppy? We recently got her from a friend. She is said to be 5 months old. We would love to know so we know what to expect.

We have about 6 vets in our family. All of them have always said the only way to know a breed for 100% is to do a DNA test on the dog.
It looks like an American husky, but you would have to do a DNA test to be sure.
To be 100% , you would need a DNA to be certain. Here is a link to other breeds whom made the list of potential breeds that are similar to huskies . -doggiedesigner.com/
Your pup is probably a Husky mix but has unusual face and facial hair to be a pure bred. She is too young to really do very much 'guessing' as pups change quickly in their first year.
Be very sure that she has all of her first year shots/vaccinations as these are vital to her health. Her vet may have some ideas about her breeding.

DNA kits can be purchased online, pet stores or a vet. They provide information on breeding but also information on health problems she may have in the future.
oh how absolutely gorgeous she is!sorry i know ive not helped with your question xxx
I think you have either Siberian Husky or Alaskan Malamute.
Red is one of several Husky colors within the Siberian Husky dog breed. Red Siberian Husky is not a separate dog breed. Siberian Husky can have a coat of almost any color or color combination and still be classed as a breed standard Husky, in particular Red in various shades, Light red, a gingery color with a white, orange, red or yellow stomach.
