Go to this link to find oodles of recipes. You simply type in the ingredients one at a time. It can be confusing at first but there is a short tutorial video of how to use the site if you need to.
Cook your spaghetti till done and drain. Fry your sausage and onions together till done, drain, add your sauce and stir. Cook together till sauce is heated. Spray 9x13 inch cake pan with pam and pour spaghetti in bottom of pan, pour meat mixture on top and top with cheese, cover and bake in 350 degrees F oven till bubbly and cheese is melted. Uncover the last 5-10 of bake time to brown cheese just a little.
This is the recipe I have. You don't say what kind of cheese you have, I use shredded cheddar or shredded mozzarella. I am also assuming you mean ground sausage.
You could also cook this the same way but instead of putting it in the oven make spaghetti tacos. mix your sausage/sauce mixture together with the spaghetti, put the mixture in taco shells and top with cheese.
Here are few sites to answer that question...

At the risk of sitting at the top of the "DUH" list, may I suggest sausage linguine? Saute' the onions and put them in the sauce.
Dice the onion and saute for about 5 minutes in 2 tbs of canola oil in a medium skillet on medium heat, then add the sausage. Brown it for about 5 minutes until the onion is translucent and the sausage is no longer pink (link sausage should be opened and crumbled before browning, and bulk sausage may be cooked just as is). Add the spaghetti sauce while you cook the linguine as the package suggests in a separate saucepan. Drain the linguini and toss with the sauce. Pour into a greased baking dish (9 x 13 inch depending on the amount of linguini and sauce).
Top with the cheese (grated) and dust lightly with paprika and Italian seasoning blend. Bake covered in a preheated 350 degree oven for about 25 minutes, removing the cover for the last 5 minutes allowing the cheese to brown slightly. Let rest on trivet for about 5 minutes before serving.
