I just recently adopted this cutie and I am wondering what she is mixed with. She is 6 months old and weighs 6lbs. She has floppy ears and a curly tail! I was thinking a beagle, but I'm not sure.
Thanks!

She is a cutie! She does look like a blend of Chihuahua/Beagle mix. But more of the Chihuahua features!
The curled tail makes me think there's some pug in your dog's bloodline. Check out some photos of Chihuahua/Pug mixes and I think you'll see some similarities with your dog.
In the process of raising 6 children I have had quite a few breeds in my home - and mixed breeds - of dogs and cats among other 'not to mentioned' pets.
It seems that Chihuahua has been the most favored.
You sure have a cutey pie and she has a Chihuahua face for sure. Her size seems about right (maybe a little on the heavy side for a 6 month true Chihuahua) most likely she has more Chihuahua than any other breed.
A Chihuahua mix can sometimes be difficult to pinpoint but weight and size generally show what is the predominant breed.
"A Chihuahuas should weigh no more than 6 pounds. Chihuahua heights range from 6 to 9 inches at the wither or shoulder, and breed standard requires that the body length -- measured from the shoulders to the buttocks -- and height cannot be the same. Instead, the body length should be slightly longer than the height."
When looking at a beagle you should expect a heavier, taller pup with a straighter tail and somewhat of a 'sad' look.
"Crossing a small - to medium-size dog such as a beagle with a tiny Chihuahua results in a dog that matures at about 12 pounds. Height varies, with the dog usually smaller than a beagle, but bigger than a Chihuahua."
I believe your pup has mostly Chihuahua but maybe some Pug as she has the flop ears and turned up/kinky tail of the pug.
I think it's possible she will stay smaller than a normal 'mix' but growth at just 6 months is difficult to gauge.
DNA test kits are available starting at about $65 just in case you really wish to know her breeding.

I always like to stress how important a pup's first year of shots/vaccinations can be to their overall future health and well being.
Good luck with your new pup and send more pictures as she grows.
