I can't determine what my baby is mixed with. I was told that he was a Chihuahua/Boxer mix, but I just want to make sure.

You can simply ask a vet or can consider DNA testing if you want a greater accuracy. My friend has been through the same kind of issue but then she figured that she had been considering her Boxer as a Pitbull. She got the DNA done through Embark Vet's DNA kit and I remember that it was comparatively a little expensive. But still, you have the option to use coupon codes, So I would suggest going for it.
The body looks pitbull to me.
Your pup is very sweet and adorable!! From this angle of the photo is hard to tell...I see a lot of Chihuahua in him, but the snout is different--and to me looks more hound like. Boxers have more rounded faces. The bones look small...so boxer is probably NOT in the mix. Maybe beagle or dachshund or some terrier--I can't get a good look at the tail.
Have you talked to your vet? A good vet should be able to make a guesstimate based on breed standards.
Wishing you a lovely history together!! Enjoy that sweet pupster!!!
I couldnt tell if he was clipped or a shorthair. I see some pomeranian in the face. Especially if he has long hair.
He does look like he has Chihuahua and maybe a little long hair?
I cannot remember seeing a long haired Chris that had hairs in the middle of the head/ears so not sure about that feature and the nose looks longer (to me).
Your baby is really cute and I feel sure his mixed does not really matter but if you do wish to check it out, there are DNA kits available that range in price from $35 to $200 and more - just according to how extensive you wish to search.
DNA Kits are available at pet supply stores like PetSmart as well as online (Google for stores) and also from a vet.
The most important thing you can do for your pet is to make sure he has all of his first year shots/vaccinations as these can be crucial to his health - especial his DHPP as this includes his Parvo protection that can be easily contracted and can be deadly to a little one. Be sure to complete all shots.
