I found several of these bugs in my bedroom over the last month. No signs of bedbugs on inspection and no bites. Any ideas?

It looks like a type of hard-shelled beetle.

The best way to get rid of a few is either take them back outside, far away from the house (my choice) or vacuum them up and take the bag outside and into a sealed trash can.
They feast on dead leaves and such and probably just got lost looking for warmth. A few are usually not an issue, but if you have bunches, you may need to call in someone to get rid of them.
That always makes me nervous as they use heavy duty chemicals which are terrible to inhale or get near people...so be very careful if you have to go that route!
