What is the name of this flower? It is a perennial and blooms in the spring. It creeps along the ground like a vine. I live in South Jersey. Thanks for your help.

Not positive--Looks like oenothera.
Donna is right. Oenothera macrocarpa. You are fortunate to have this flower. In North Carolina, I rarely see this yellow variety. We have the pink variety, 'Oenothera speciosa'. Oenothera has the common name 'Evening Primrose' and was quite popular in flower gardens in the early part of the last century.
