What is name of this shrub/plant? It has pink to purple blooms that bloom all summer. The blooms produce large seeds that resemble black peppercorns.

Yes it is a 4 o'clock. I have had them in my yard for years.
R Barbara is right. This is Mirabilis jalapa, common name Four O'clock. You might want to Google this plant and see a marvelous array of stunning colors.
Thanks....now that I know it's name I did Google and found many articles on....wasn't aware they can be invasive...I was given 'one' seed and it germinated in no time and has grown well this year....eager to see how it does next year.
They're called four o'clock. They open twice a day not at four. The four is for the four round point on the Trumpet of the flower I can come in 5 different colors and the first time they open they drop their seed.
It looks like 4 o'clocks....
