My client has one in her house and is unable to remember what the name is or how to care for it. Could you guys be of any help? Please and thanks :)

The one to the left is an African violet. I believe the one on the right is called a monkey or monkey's tail. The whole stem should be covered in leaves though, not just the last inch or two. It's in pretty sad shape. They both are actually.
The violet just needs the dead flowers removed and a African violet fertilizer applied. Water from the bottom occasionally. Allowing the plant to absorb the water. Place in bright but indirect light. It will bloom again.
Okay thanks ladies I appreciate all the information. She's 96 and couldn't remember what they were and wants to bring then back to "life". Fingers are crossed.
