Anyone know what kind of plant this is? I know it's some kind of palm and I've had it for ten years. One stalk shriveled up and now there are all these new sprouts coming out of the sides.

Its kind of hard to tell without getting a good look at what kind of leaves that it has. You may want to look at the website called houseplant411.com they have several houseplants including different types of palms cataloged with pictures and I've found it to be a useful website for identifying plants. I wish I had a name to give you but like I said I really cant tell without seeing what the leaves look like. Good luck!
