I bought this at Home Depot in the indoor plant area. Unfortunately none of the plants had the little stick informing me what plant it was and its proper care. It has thick leathery theaves with red undersides.

Is there a tag anywhere on the pot? If so, I wonder if they could scan it at customer service and link it to their invoice to figure it out. Or possibly take it to a florist or ag dept at a local university? I have several books, I only had time to look in a few, but did not see it.
It is a variety of peperomia, possibly Rosso or this one.
Bring this picture to any garden center or your local Cooperative Extension center. I have done this, and found out what my plant was.
You have a beautiful Peperomia Caperata Rosso and these are difficult to find at Lowes or similar locations.
I love the whole family of Peperomia but there are so many different plants!
Most of this family of plants are tropical in that they prefer nice weather and can usually only be grown indoors.
