if she had it in a greenhouse environment, then it may need more sun and humidity.
Maybe a red aglaonema?

You can't go wrong giving it some fertilizer. You also changed its environment, so it will take time to adjust.
It is difficult to tell for sure what type of plant you have but you can probably save it with a little TLC.
Since this plant was in a green house room it may be difficult it to adjust to a regular house environment but try to find a spot that has some of the same type of light. Usually that would be sunny but indirect light - no sun - and some air movement.
