I got this plant for a birthday gift. Of course it comes with no identification. Does anyone know what type of plant this is? Also, how should I care for this plant?

It looks like some type of philodendron. It needs bright, indirect sunlight. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Fertilize at regular intervals.
We could give you a more accurate ID if you could upload some photos of the leaves as this photo does not give enough coverage of the shape of the leaf. Did anyone happen to tell you if it will have flowers or how large it is suppose to grow?

This really looks like a coffee tree, a very young coffee tree :)
