I received an indoor plant 2 years ago and I have never been able to work out what it is. The photo is of some new growth that I separated last week. The original plant that these came from is probably half a meter tall. I's very similar to the figgle plant, but its leaves are more oval and have smooth edges in comparison.

This is difficult as the photo does not really show a good leaf pattern as the cuttings are too young. Perhaps you could post a photo in the future so we can try to identify your plant.
Just guessing really but your plant looks like it is in the Ficus/Fiddle Leaf family and I believe the care would be about the same. it does not look like a rubber tree plant or a regular Fiddle Leaf Fig or even a standard ficus tree/plant so this is all I can offer.
