I was told mine, which is identical to yours is in the Dracaena family. Mine is well over 25 years old. They need loss of water and do quite well (at least mine has all these years) with afternoon sun.
They shed a lot so be proactive and carefully pull the yellow/brown leaves before they fall.
I have started babies from cuttings. The need to be well rooted in water before going to dirt to increase survival.

Your plant is in the Dracaena family.
There are several different types but I believe yours may be the Dracaena marginata.
I agree that it is a dracena.
thse are Dracaena plants which are, interestingly enough, a top performer in NASA's clean air study and tolerant to sparse watering. THus a great indoor sort of plant
