What Is This Houseplant? I'm not sure what this is I threw away the label. The leaves are hairy and there are small flowers on it.

Its scientific name is Saintpaulias more often called African violet and I agree with Judy, drops of water on the leaves specially if it is cold water will damage the leaves. The plant doesn't like changes of temperature.

It needs warmth, bright light but no direct sunlight, and it should be kept in a pot small enough for the leaves to stand out of the pot as they will rot if they are too close or if they touch the soil.
