What Is This Houseplant?

plant with dark green leaves Does anyone know what plant this is? I purchased it from Lowe's and it was marked "Foliage Plant" so obviously I have no idea what it really is. I thought it was some type of rubber plant, but cannot find it in any of my resource books.

I received the answer to my question on Facebook. It is a baby rubber plant, specifically a Peperomia Obtusifolia. Thanks everyone!!

Most peperomias aren't this succulent, so the pictured plant is somewhat misleading. I do believe though, Donna is 100% correct.

There are many varieties of Peperomia. If you google images, I'm sure you will find your variety.

It appears to me to be an Orchid. I have one that is currently blooming for the second time in about a year. They are very easy to grow. The blossoms appear on the thin stalks.
