This tool is made out of cast iron and is about 60cm long. My neighbour has recently acquired this tool and would like to know what it would be used for.

There is also an app, you'll have to Google it, search something like 'Identify photo' or 'object', where you post a picture of the object and it tells you just what it is. Good luck.
