I'm wondering what kind of puppy this is? When we got him I was told he was a full bred Boxer, but I'm seeing Pit Bull. Please, I need to know since my neighborhood does not allow Pit Bulls, which is dumb.

If you have a paper saying he is a boxer, leave it at that. If my "neighborhood" didn't allow cats, I would dress mine up as a ferret. In other words, let this sleeping puppy lie. I hope that helps.
The best thing to do is take your adorable puppy to a vet and get him/her to put it on paper that your puppy is an unregistered (AKC) Boxer.
I raised AKC Boxers in the US for over 40 years, my cousin raised Staffies (American Staffordshire Terrier, Staffie is the correct nickname for the breed commonly called pit bull) - please take your pup to the vet for confirmation but I can 99.9% promise you your dog is at least 3/4 Boxer if not 100%. Without seeing a profile photo of the puppy standing up I can't say for certain that it's 100% Boxer but your vet will be able to do so.
One of the reasons I don't believe your puppy is in any way part Staffie is the shape of the head. Do a search engine images run using the search term 'staffie puppy head shape' and you'll immediately see what I mean.
It is very important that you get something in writing from your vet - as you know now, many locales legislate against Staffies, and a number of them have begun using the term 'Pit Bull like' so they can keep any dog that bears even the slightest resemblance to a Staffie out of the area. Boxers bear a superficial resemblance to Staffies (to the uneducated eye) and worse, many locales are now lumping Boxers in with other 'Dangerous Breed' dogs. Dobermans, German Shepherds, and Rottweilers are also being labelled as dangerous, so be sure your area permits Boxers - and that you know and follow any laws regarding keeping a dog that could be considered one of the dangerous breeds. Some areas permit certain breeds but have very strict laws regarding fencing, leashes, and insurance.
I can't tell you how many times I had to tell people my Boxers were NOT 'pit bulls'. Sigh.
