We adopted this guy and they said he's an Alaskan Husky, but I can't seem to find any pictures that look similar to him. His tail is a little bushy and curls back to touch his spine area and looks a bit wolfish to us?

There are two different white husky dogs and one is the Siberian husky and the other is the Isabella Huskies. The Isabella Huskies have a slightly yellow or beige coloring running down their back which can be seen in the right kind of light. I do not see any wolf in your dog and it sure looks like it is a Siberian husky to me.
It is possible that your dog is not pure Husky. It might be a Husky - Samoyed cross. Samoyeds have bushy tails and usually carry them curled over their backs near the butt.
Beautiful dog!
It is really difficult to tell about young dogs as they change so rapidly as they put on weight and grow inches overnight!
You do not say how old he is and since there is no full picture this makes it even more difficult.
I'm assuming you did not get to meet the parents of your pup and that is usually how we get the most information about pets we adopt.
I was thinking maybe some German Shepard mix but then you say his tail is bushy and curls back over his spine and German Shepards usually have a straight kinda slender tail.
Looks like he has a lot of Husky features but the only way to know for sure is with a DNA test. These test kits cost $40 - several hundred dollars and can be purchased online, pet stores or from your vet.
You can check out different pictures of the Alaskan Husky and the German Shepard to see some of the differences.

Be sure your pup gets all of his first year shots/vaccinations:
I don't see any sign of wolf in your dog.

What a sweet face!! I think he is more White German Shepherd than Husky, but I am not seeing the whole body or tail.
Has your vet weighed in?
Wishing you may happy adventures!!
