This called a Hoya plant- or called a wax plant. It is in the succulent family. They do well in and out doors. Grows well on trellis, hanging baskets etc.
Possibly a variety of Jade Plant
I grow a lot of jade plants here and this one looks like one of them I am currently growing.
Are you in the US?
Perhaps your local home extension office can confirm. It looks like it may be in the Peperomia obtusifolia family (also called baby rubber trees).
Are the leaves smooth or do they have a texture/velvety feel? If it is the latter it may be in the jade family--there are many many variety of jades.
I'm not sure what it is, but it is NOT a Hoya. I have a Hoya, and the leaves grow on a semi-woody vine with gaps between leaves. Your plant looks like a succulent of some type.
I was curious, so I looked up Kalanchoes. I believe your plant is one of the three listed. You can search them on-line to see which matches best: Kalanchoe luciae (paddle plant)
