Had this for many years but don't know what type of stone are they made of, value, etc. Can anybody help me? Thanks!

Almost impossible to identify a stone from a photo. Sorry.
Are you sure they are stone? The chipping looks like they may be a resin material.
You said you had for many years...how long? That may help figure out what materials were common in that time frame.
EGYPTIAN PHARAOH KING TUT STATUE SCULPTURE BOOKENDS are popular on eBay and go for a variety of prices from $8 on up.
I see many that are listed as unknown materials. When I sold these back in the 1980s, they were mostly made of bronze and sometimes they were weighted with concrete in them to make them functional as book ends or display pieces. There were some resin pieces too, but the person I was selling for at the time had the bronze ones.
If you have a vintage shop nearby, see if someone can help you ID them in person. Although to be honest, stone is hard to ID unless it is marble--and these do not appear to be marble. Marble is cold to the touch and very heavy. It chips if dropped or whacked with a hammer (not that someone would do that), but it does not chip in the pattern that yours is. That chipping looks a lot like the way resins chip.
Post back what you learn!
First, you think that it is a stone, which means that the figurines are heavy. Secondly, your figurines have green areas, which is a characteristic sign of the presence of copper. All this makes me think that the composition of the material from which your figurines are made includes copper.
I dont think anyone could answer from the picture. One would have to see how heavy it is, if it is easily scratched, and things like that.
Hard to tell, there are also painting techniques that can give this same look over plaster. If it is a bronze or metal, it would be very heavy, next to plaster, which is often hollow in the center.
Only someone with knowledge about statues of this type may be able to answer your questions and they will need a lot more information and several pictures.
You should post pictures of close up face, sides, back and definitely a clear picture of the bottom.
It would be best to take pictures of only one bookend so pictures will be clear.
Measurements,
Age - any information you have - clear dates/years,
Weight of one statue,
Why do you think they are stone?
What is causing the piece to lose its top coat (in places)? Do the pieces look like they are painted?
Here is something kinda similar but mainly it shows what type of pictures are needed when asking for help:

If you can post pictures and answer questions you can join Reddit and pot on their site. Most likely someone will be able to provide some information.

If there is a college or even a junior college in your area it may be possible to ask for help in their history department as many times a professor will take on something like this as a project for student and sometimes you get excellent information.
As to value: probably $45-$65 if posted with good pictures and information.
