I found this snake in Lehigh Pennsylvania while bike riding. I want to know what type of snake is it and if it's venomous?

First, this delightful little guy is harmless, though it might bite in defense, and its tiny but sharp teeth could draw tiny pinpricks of blood that are no danger (if worried, rinse with alcohol). Usually, after a few minutes of gentle handling, they become quite docile. It's a juvenile and does not yet have adult patterning. Two species come to mind: a pine snake (adults to about 5.5 ft) or a bull snake (to about 6 ft). It does not have the head or pattern of a juvenile king snake. Sorry, it's been 50 years since I worked with eastern snakes. Maybe you'll get a better answer.
This answer is from my biologist husband.
