It seems to me that your bugs do not have long antennas like cockroaches. This why I think these are Water Bugs.
Water Bugs are normally black and they look very similar to black cockroaches. The main difference between a Cockroach and a Water Bug is a very long antenna of Cockroach.
Water bugs belong to the family of Hemiptera. They live on land as well as in water. Be careful, their bites are painful. More information you can find here: www.prevention.com/

Could you post another photo with a coin or ruler with the bugs for a size reference? And where in your bathroom did these appear? Are those thread-like things attached to the bugs?
These look like cockroaches. If you rent, contact the landlord. If you pan, try an insecticide.
Do they seem dead? But when you touch, they move or crawl? I'm not sure but I think these may be weevils.
Did you find out what type of bugs you have?
Are they still bothering you?
If you still need help please try asking your question on your county extension office site as this is part of their job - helping people identify insects and how to get rid of them.
