I found this weed in my backyard. It's like a berry bush with purple/blue berries about 3/4 cm across. The berries, when squished, are greenish inside, not unlike a blueberry. There are massive amounts of seeds, and birds are fond of the berries. What could this weed be?

Could it be Polk berries? Birds love them and they are purple.
When birds eat them, their droppings are purple too.
It's a pokeweed. Once any part of the plant turns red (like those stems are) it is poisonous to humans.
