I use a Brita pitcher and washable bottles. My husband buys his water. You need to read the label carefully, or you may be paying for just tap water.
Words to watch out for are:
I'm going to show my husband this tonight. I think he will change his mind about buying water, or at least change the brand.

I am one of those rare people who have never bought a bottle of water.
And remind you hubby that the first water sold was called Evian. Then have his spell it backwards. Naive.
Thanks for the info!!!
Thanks for the tip. I do not use bottled water but I do know some who do and I'm going to get them to check out what they are spending their money on.
I don't buy bottled water unless it's absolutely necessary. Our home water is filtered twice, so we don't use a Brita at home.
I do take one with us when we travel. It's easy to pack and you can stuff it with other things. I've found very few places where I like the taste of the water, and I don't want to buy expensive hotel water. I keep the Brita filled all the time so we don't have to buy any.
At a family destination wedding, other family members were coming to us for our filtered water at the hotel.
Nestles and Ozarka are both the same company. We have an Ozarka plant near where we live. Needless to say, I don't buy their water. I realize that the factory employees a lot of people, and other water bottling companies are the same as Ozarka. It is just my way of protesting.
I buy bottled water simply because my tap water tastes nasty!!! I had a Pur filter that fit on my faucet and loved it until it gave out.
My water is undrinkable since it comes from a stream so I have fitted a Seagull purifier- marvellous, gets all bugs and cysts out just leaves the minerals, I can highly recommend it-as I too used to buy bottled water. It is not cheap but the filter will probably last me 2 years.
