Many churches have bins in the parking lot for clothing to be picked up. These organizations also take clothing and linens that are not usable and recycle them. Make sure you put it in a bag and mark it recycle. Also, many animal shelters will take worn linens and towels.

I would check and see where your local thrift shop is , most do take linins and things, if it is in good condition then they will sell it at a reasonably price. Monies usually go to area charities.

Its important to recycle used mattress pads because when they are left in a landfill or dumped somewhere, they start to decompose. This can lead to the release of hydrogen cyanide, isocyanates, and flame retardants, all of which have a very negative impact on our planet.

Most cities have local recycling centers that accept a wide-variety of items that you cant typically put out with your standard recyclables. Drop your mattress pad off at a local recycling center.
As I understand it, zip code 18901 belongs to Doylestown, PA.
Contact Doylestown Waste Recycling www.doylestownwasterecycling.com/

Use a junk removal company, for example LoadUp.

Contact the store where you purchased the mattress pad and ask them about recycling options.

Donate your mattress pad to Charity Organizations:
The Salvation Army
Goodwill
Habitat for Humanity
Furniture Bank Association of America
There are also local charities that will accept used mattress pads:
Womens Shelters
Family Shelters
Homeless Shelters
Thrift Stores

Put your mattress pad in your curbside garbage cart.
Place your curbside garbage cart at the curb by 6 a.m. on your scheduled collection day.

There are many ways to repurpose your old mattress pads instead of throwing it away or dealing with having it recycled:

create pet beds for your dog or cat;
place it on an old bed frame and make a trundle bed for your kids;
cut it up and make pillows or stuff saggy couch cushions.
