I picked up this gorgeous low table; wrought iron with thick beveled glass top. It needs derusting and the top needs serious attention! Any idea what era it's from and maybe what the design is? It seems very distinct. And how do I remove the calciumrings from the glass top? I've tried acetone to no avail!

My mother has a very similar table that is less than twenty years old. I believe this style has been around for quite awhile. For the calcium rings, try CLR -it's a calcium-lime-rust remover made for household use. Just follow bottle directions. Good luck taking all that rust off the wrought iron frame. The CLR might work on that too, but good old fashion elbow grease with wire brush and sand paper will work wonders too.
Dating it is going to be a challenge. The feet look very old, but there are new things coming out of Wayfairer that are meant to look old.
If you had someone who could look at all of the ways it is joined together, they may be able to help you date it. It really needs to be done in person vs. via photos.
There are tests for wrought iron vs. cast iron. I am thinking yours is cast, but you would need to test it. Wrought iron usually has more of a sheen to it and yours has more of a matte rust look.
There are many videos on YouTube to help you figure out the metal composition but do these at your own risk as if not done right, you can damage your table. Better to have a knowledgeable vintage furniture reseller look at it to tell you vintage vs newer.
To clean the glass, try using denture tablets. Follow the directions and then put the mix on the stain.

The era of your table is a bit hard to determine. These types of tables have been around for years. I have seen them as early as the 70s when I was in my teens.
Looks like Mid Century Modern piece . Here are a pair for sale on Etsy- www.etsy.com/
