My Whirlpool ice maker will not make crushed ice, only cubes. Any suggestion please? I can only find answers to those who only get cubes.

Your ice bin may need to be cleaned
Step 1
Remove the ice bin
Step 2
Empty the ice from the bin
Step 3
Hand wash, rinse, and dry the ice bin thoroughly. Make sure the bin is completely dry before reinstalling into the refriger
With door open try dislogging any gatherd ice in crusher my be stuck in crushed cyle due to a lodged cube keeping it in that cycle

Make certain "crushed ice" is selected
Step 2
Remove the ice bin, clean it, and dry it thoroughly
Step 3
Clean the ice chute using a warm, damp cloth, and dry thoroughly
Step 4
If none of that works, call them at 1-866-698-2538
Look in the freezer where the ice comes out is there any frost or ice build up. If there is, clean it.
Go to www.partselect.com and navigate to a picture of your freezer door. It will help you figure out your problem.
Also, try taking the bin out and running water through where the ice comes out.
