White Heat Marks on Wood Table

What is the best way to remove white rings/marks from finished wood surfaces (other than ironing)? Thanks.

I ordered something called Zap Wood Restorer from an ad I saw on TV. This stuff works great! It not only removed all white rings, but made the whole table look like new. I have tried it on several wooden items and the results always surprise me. It supposedly isn't available in stores, but can be bought online. (04/06/2009)
