White Sleeves on Jacket Have Yellowed?

Every once in a while a clothing item of mine has also yellowed since being put away. I always make sure it has been cleaned before putting away but for some reason it yellows. After trying many unsuccessful methods I came across one that works. It will take some time but here it is: take the item & hang it outside (great if you have a clothesline). Secure it tightly.

Let it stay outdoors in the snow, rain, sun, sleet, or whatever weather comes along. I have an item hanging right now that has been there for over a month. Hopefully you will not need the item right away. Eventually the yellowing will subside. Please make a posting when it does as I will be interested if this works for you. Best of luck.
