This painting was actually found by a dumpster when moving out of an apartment in Florida. It was in great condition and I liked the scene. The canvas is on a wood frame that has an engraving that says "ARTISTS MATERIAL, Grumbacher, New York." The length of the wood is also stamped "30"or etched "36" onto the wood piece. Any help on the artist and value would be appreciated! Thank you!

Most of the information posted on your 'Dylon' painting would apply to this one also.

The name on the frame ARTISTS MATERIAL, Grumbacher, New York, is a company that sells all tyoes of art material to artists.
"Grumbacher is an American manufacturer of art materials. The company offers products for artists including oil, water-miscible oil, watercolor and acrylic paints."
I believe this is probably a painting by a local, unknown artist and was just no longer to the person's taste.
However, many 'unknown' artists do become famous in later years.

Thank you so much for the help. I will look into your recommendations.
From what I can see here the information on the frame is by the company who actually framed this canvas. I am not finding information on the signature of the canvas but that doesn't mean that the artist who actually painted this is famous or not. You have also posted a second painting here by Dylan. I would consider taking both of these to the same art dealer and have them looked at.
